In your eyes

I saw forever in your eyes
the very eyes that tried to
hide all your feelings for
me inside......

They eyes that told me
your lonely and how you
craved to be held in the
middle of night......

It was I who found all
your feeling so deep inside
I gave you my heart
I would have lived and died
for you ......

until that night
I looked back into those
very eyes that used to say
I love you now all they do is cry......

now I realized forever was
not in your eyes
how you pushed me aside
how you never looked
back not caring how I
agonized over your loss......

so just go ahead turn and walk away
do not look back baby cuz
I never promised you I wouldn't cry
someday my eyes will dry......

But I will always remember
all those places we took each other
you can take the arms
that reached for me and held me close
but I will still feel you......

you can take the
lips that kissed me
and whispered the words I love you
But I will still hear you......

BUT one thing you can never
hide is how you let me inside
how I showed you that you can
love and be loved......

So go on walk out that door
just walk away throw it all away
but I will always have you
in my heart as I know I will
always be in yours.....

So go ahead and move on
but NO-one else will love
you as I do......
